A downloadable game

Insurgence is a futuristic tower defense game. It was made for the Rapid Prototyping and Mini Game Production classes in the Game Programming - Bachelor of Software Engineering course in MDS in New Zealand.

The objective of the game is to survive the increasingly difficult waves of enemies by building and upgrading towers and defenses


Controls

  • WASD to move the camera around
  • Mouse Wheel to zoom in and out
  • Left Mouse Button to place towers, barricades, resource gathering buildings and to upgrade them
  • Yellow tiles allow you to place towers
  • Blue Tiles allow you to place resource gathering buildings
  • Green tiles allow you to place defenses like barricades to slow the enemy down
